They became defeated and let the self-doubt creep in and ruin what could have been…..

For me, it is this.

On a side note, I knew this was the opportunity for me because:

In 2009 I had the opportunity to invest in bitcoin, when bitcoin was only a few cents per coin. I told my friend I didn’t think people would use bitcoin as a real currency, so I said No….

I was wrongBoy was I WRONG!!!

Had a bought bitcoin back then, I would be a multi, multi millionaire today! At it’s highest, bitcoin was worth over $1000 per bitcoin!

I promised myself,

If I was ever fortunate enough to get a second chance on a great opportunity, I would do it, and go ALL in!

I am living my second chance! What I found is better than bitcoin!

How is that for second chances? LOL

For me it was a no-brainer! I had to do it!

Anyway, the bottom line is you better have a rock solid program & product if you want true success.

You need a way to present that product to your target audience.

To do this you need a Good Sales Funnel.

Take your lead through a process that will turn them into a loyal customer.

There are several ways to do this.

You can use everything from social media to pay per click advertising.

You can use free sources, or if you have money to invest, you can do that too.

The possibilities are endless!

I would suggest, don’t get overwhelmed, and just focus on one at a time.

Once you can generate business leads daily with your lead generation strategy,

Then you can move onto the next…

Or if you are bored and realize you hate the lead generation strategy,

Then RUN to the next one. LOL

Follow the advice above and you will be dancing like I do every-time I receive a text message saying I got a new commission.

So you are here because you understand the importance of email marketing & list building.

I must FIRST say, congratulations because you are a step ahead of the game my friend!

I’m not into hocus pocus, or push button solutions,

But I will tell you that the closest thing you will get to push button profits is building an email list.

Build a responsive, targeted list, send an email promoting a product you can stand behind, and make money……

Sounds easy enough, right?

I only wish I had started building my list when I first started online……

I thought lists were a waste of my time, too much to bother with, and I just didn’t want to deal with it….

Little did I know, that the most successful businesses online have an email list….

Think about it…….

What if you had a list of awesome people that were interested in your product or service?

What if you had a list of people that had actually purchased your product or service in the past?!

Can we say cha-ching……LOL

You basically have people you can help & serve at your fingertips!

The possibilities are endless….every time you have a new product offering, or any business news you would like to get out to your customer base, viola….

Send one email, and you have just communicated with your target audience!

It’s awesome.

So in the famous words of Michael Jackson….

You wanna be startin’ somethin’….

The somethin’ you wanna start is building that email list;).

Newbie’s Problem With Marketing Via Email:

1. You aren’t sure which way to go

2. If you are doing it right

3. Or even how to do it…..

Marketing online can be confusing, so when you first begin in the online world, there are a million different directions you can go!

I dedicated a whole day to email marketing in my new boot kamp training designed for people who are struggling in their business to make real money online.

If you are new to list building, my number 1 piece of advice would be to focus on getting your list started before you begin other forms of marketing.

I made the mistake of trying to focus on too many marketing techniques, and ended up spinning my wheels:(.

Tools Needed To Build An Email List:

email marketing autoresponderBefore you can start your list building efforts, and your full blown email marketing campaign, you gotta have a few things first………..

1. You need a website (or atleast leadpages).

You need a place to put all of the opt-in forms that people will use to subscribe to your list. In order to build a list you need an opt-in form for people to enter their name & email.

Once they enter their email you need a place to collect those email addresses.

That leads me to the auto-responder……..

2. An auto-responder.

An auto-responder is where you will collect all of your subscriber emails, and send out your follow-up emails & broadcasts.

My auto-responders of choice are PLS & Aweber.

Alot of the top internet marketers use Aweber in their business.

Both PLS & Aweber are awesome.

As a trial member you get access to all the cool features to try for a month!

If after a month, you don’t like em’ they will give you your $1 back, and you can simply cancel.

I use 2 different auto-responders because they both have unique features, and it allows me to have a back-up plan, just in case something goes wrong with one…….

I have learned that you never make your business totally dependent on any ONE thing…..

You should diversify traffic sources, auto-responders, products, ect.

It’s up to you which auto-responder you choose, there are several out there, but of course I recommend, Aweber & PLS.

It doesn’t matter which one you get, just as long as you get one……

Your list will be one of the most valuable assets of your business.

Email Marketing Tips For Success:

email marketing tips1. Giveaway something of value to help your subscriber (aka lead magnet)

Remember, offering a lead magnet gets targeted subscribers to your list.

Make sure this is truly something of value that the subscriber can use to solve one of their problems.

Another idea is to give away part of something of value to your reader, and make them opt-in to get the other half.

2. Track everything

Make sure that when you are building your list that you are tracking…..

You want to know where EVERY subscriber is coming from.

Basically you want to focus on what is working, and scrap everything else!

For me, I use social media, solo ads, forum marketing, and pop-ups to get leads to this site that end up being great subscribers to my list.

3. Stop selling

Remember,  no-one likes to be SOLD to….

Especially crap products.

Make sure you are promoting products that are awesome, that you can stand behind!

No junk, remember, your relationship with your subscriber is on the line here……

Making Chash-o-la From The Email List

I know you are saying….DUH KAY, but you’d be surprised…;)

Cherish, respect, appreciate your subscribers and their time

Use custom thank you page after they opt-in to get people to check out an affiliate offer that they might need.

Absolutely NO churnin’ & burnin’….

Again, don’t promote a million new offers to your list everyday, just to make a dollar….it’s not worth it.

The key to list building is you don’t just want a large list that is not targeted,

Your goal is to have a responsive list of your target audience….

Ever heard the saying quality over quantity?

You can share loads of content without being overbearing, and annoying people.

The beauty here is that your followers choose your boards that they want to follow, so as long as your board topics stay relevant to the title, your target audience will appreciate you, and love you for it!

6. Allows you to target lots of consumers without worrying about offending people

Ok, I know I mentioned this earlier, but it truly is one of the characteristics that sets this social platform apart from the others.

Imagine trying to post 100 pieces of content in a day to your Facebook wall….you would turn into the “spammy loser” so fast it would make your head spin……

With Pinterest, it’s just not like that….the more content with Pinterest the better!

7. Drives ton of traffic

Ok, so I keep mentioning this one, but it is such a good traffic source, I want you to understand what you are currently missing if you are not using Pinterest….

9. Allows you to demonstrate services/products, and showcase the use of product

Basically you can get create, and show your target audience exactly what you can use your services to do, or show them everything you can do with your product, and the benefits of the product.

2. Segment your content….create topical boards for your target audience

3. Move your content around based on relevance

For example, if you were promoting a seasonal product, and it is no longer in the season, move that pin to the end of your board

4. Update descriptions on your pin, and add a description that speaks to YOUR target audience

**Remember, you will get alot more in your marketing efforts, if you don’t try to market to EVERYONE….speak to your TARGET audience**

5. Add your brand link to relevant pins, when it makes sense

In your description about your pin, add the link to your website

Let’s say you are a recipe site, and you have just pinned a picture of a great recipe, add a link back to your site page that contains the recipe

**Remember, your description should be 500 characters or less.

6. Motivate user to click through to your website

For example, if you are a cookie shop and you are sharing a recipe, post a picture of the finished product, and make them want to click through to your site for the actual recipe

7. Be creative

8. Link to main website from profile home page (click pencil to edit)

When you first create your account you will have to fill out your profile, make sure you put your main profile link in your profile! Also, take the time to verify your website.

9. Name boards key phrases your target audience would search when they need help

10. Use keywords in description on your pins

make bulleted list in description, they are easier to read, and more likely to be re-pinned

12. Join the fun: like, comment, re-pin, and follow others

13. Share on your other social channels that you are on pinterest

Use built in invite button on Pinterest to invite your other friends, and customers to join you and follow you on Pinterest

14. Link from your blog to Pinterest

Use text link to say join me on Pinterest

15. Email your list or customers, and let them know your are on Pinterest

Put a link to join you on Pinterest in the email as well as a sneek preview screenshot of your board so they know the great content they are missing out on by not joining you

16. Add pin-it button on website

You can find buttons at: http://about.pinterest.com/goodies

**Remember: Pins are evergreen with a long shelf life…..Pinterest content doesnt have dates associated with it like other sites**

WHO ELSE IS ON PINTEREST:

The big boys are doing it, so why can’t you?

To  name a few, even the Whitehouse, NBC News, and Mcdonalds are on Pinterest my friend!

Search for some of your favorite brands, and I bet you will be surprised by what you find…..

Facebook Marketing To Get Results In Your Business

If you answered “I don’t know” you’re not….lol

I am just being honest, and trust me I am laughing with you NOT at you.

I did it wrong for a long time, and got nowhere……literally, no money, no new clients/customers….

Spam is so unoriginal, not to mention GROSS……

All of the spam inspired me to post a FREE resource to educate people on doing it the RIGHT way…..

Use Social Media the RIGHT way, and get the results you actually want!

Let me tell you that if you want to leverage your precious time, and be able to connect to a large number of your potential customers, current customers, and business contacts, Facebook is the way to go Joe…..

But only if you are gonna take the time to do it right……

Otherwise you are just wasting your time, which is fine, but it will never get you where you want to go.

Marketing is a numbers game my friend…..

If you can get in the groove, and connect with people, help people, and serve people, you will grow your business!

If you want to leverage Facebook to get fresh leads for FREE, keep on reading…..

If you are selling a product, these skills will be priceless for you, and if you are building a team, this method can easily be duplicated, and you can create your army of knowledgeable marketers!

The Facebook marketing method I am going to show you is not a super fast method, it takes time and patience, remember, this is not a marathon, it’s a sprint…now let’s get to building your business!

Marketing On Facebook: Connecting

facebook marketingSo connecting on Facebook is not that hard, there are literally millions of people ready to interact with you.

Look in Groups where your target lead would hangout.  If you are in real estate, it’s popular real estate groups, if you are in network marketing, it’s going to be motivational speaker groups, if you are selling a software, find a group where your target customer would be hanging out…

Make Sense?

Ok Good. Basically you find people in these groups with the mindset & attitude you like by reviewing all the comments. When you find someone you think you could help with your opportunity or product, now it’s game on;)

Send the prospect or lead an individual message. Now don’t get carried away with this or you will end up in Facebook jail. I don’t send anymore than 5 per day, but definitely don’t send more than 10/day!

Review their profile, find something in common with them, and send them an individual message. Ask them questions as you build the relationship: What do you do? How will I know when I come across the perfect client/customer for your business?

Your goal is to find out what they struggle with, and see if you have a solution that can help them….if you don’t, no big deal, there are millions of other great people you can help.

Be the authority figure and give great advice to your new friend…..find out what their struggles are, and help them!

Help People……Stop worrying about making a sale, or your business revenue, and just help people….

Facebook Marketing: Getting Someone On The Phone

You get people on the phone after you have had several exchanges with them, and when they are ready for it.

If someone gives you their number, then they are ready.

If someone asks for your number, they are ready…..

If they ask for your number, get the;rs, so you can program their number in your phone, and it will keep you from missing their call.

When you have them on the phone:

1. Ask them questions & find out about them (what they do, are they new to business/product search, and how it’s going, ect)

2. Find out how they work their business, and what they struggle with

3. After they tell you what they struggle with, tell them about your business/product & why you like it

4. Be engaging, and also LISTEN….listen more than you talk, and you will learn alot.

5. Don’t sell the person on your product or opportunity, let them sell themselves

** Remember, focus on helping them, and solving their problem!**

Facebook Marketing: What To Do When You Receive Messages/Friend Requests

facebook marketing successWhen you get messages and friend requests you wanna know what to do……RESPOND!

1. Respond to every friend request with a nice message thanking them for requesting to add you as their friend

2. When you get a message, message them back, and help them with their struggles.

If you get pitched in a message with a business opportunity, respond back in a kind way, and ask them how the tactic is working for them. Educate them, and build a relationship.

Facebook Marketing is like dancing…..go with the flow of the music, and if your partner stops dancing, ask why…..

You might have stepped on their toe;)

Facebook Marketing: Don’t Be Insane, It Doesn’t Work

Well I am sure I am not the first to tell ya how insane this is……

1. Spamming doesn’t work!!! Contacting people that you don’t know, and spamming them with your affiliate link/website doesn’t work! Spamming groups with your affiliate links and tired messages like “I earn $10k/month & you can too” or “This is the launch of a lifetime, join my company and live your dreams” blah blah blah

How is that working for ya? I will tell you how……it isn’t. Don’t do it!!!

2. Don’t rush the relationship. Building a relationship takes time, so be willing to put in the time to nurture the relationship, and find out if you can help the person with your product or opportunity.

3. Don’t try to sell a product that you can’t totally stand behind. If you don’t use it, don’t expect to get other people to……..Be passionate, and stand behind your product/opportunity

4. Did I say NEVER send links….unless they want it, you are wasting your time!

5. Don’t pitch your business or be “salesy”, build relationships

6. Don’t try to reach out and initiate too many contacts per day. Facebook doesn’t like this, and you could end up getting your account shutdown temporarily.

7. Don’t spam your own wall with your links. LOL I know this is a funny one, but I see it all the time! Your wall should help people get to know you, and provide value. 10% of what you do should be selling. Please don’t post your link on your wall 5 times a day….it doesn’t work!

Facebook Marketing: DO’s

1. If you get a new customer/business opportunity partner in your business, send them a shout out on facebook:). I’d like to Welcome Kay, from the great state of Indiana to the team! Or Thanks Kay for your recent purchase of X. I look forward to serving your X needs.

I do this on my clients pages, and it works like a charm to create engagement. I don’t do it to my own page as much because I am busy building my client pages. LOL

2. Post positive things on your wall (no negative drama please)

3. Post Quotes that inspire you on your wall

4. Be consistent, and keep at it!

5. Connect with people via phone if you can. If you can help them, chat with them, and let them know how you can help!
